First came Louis Vuitton then Miu Miu and finally Elie Saab. On the final day of Paris Fashion Week, the Lebanese designer unveiled yet another stunning collection to his ever anticipating audience.
Staying in sync with the upcoming season’s generous mix of masculine and feminine silhouettes shown on so many runways this month, Saab’s Autumn/Winter 2013 lady is one who wears tuxedo jackets with sharp edges, pants, jumpsuits, and oversized capes, yet is “always beautiful”, as he said backstage, but this time in a “Russian way”.
Feminine touches were added through the sheer layers on the side panels of the outfits, along with short skirts and peplum.
Shortly after, the label’s signature designs- heavily embroidered, lacey, and beaded gowns made their way down the runway, with black, yellow, white, blues, and purples dominating the collection.
It was yet another big show for Elie Saab who proved he could step out of his comfort zone and deliver big on the final day of Paris Fashion Week!
