Best & Worst Dressed at the Golden Globes

Lights, camera, awards season! The first official weekend of the new year brought along the Golden Globe awards; and while the weather is currently freezing in so many corners of the world, Los Angeles was its sunny self as Hollywood’s brightest stars came out to celebrate the best in TV and movies. Here are the night’s best and worst dressed:

Sophie Turner sizzles in Louis Vuitton! The Game of Thrones actress expertly combines shoulder pads, cutouts, and sheer in one stunning gown that show that she’s all grown up. Turner completes the look with Tiffany & Co. jewels and flat straight hair.

Heidi Klum‘s latest fashion crime comes in the form of this J. Mendel zig-zag black and white dress. The top part seems to be holding on to dear life, trying to avoid a wardrobe malfunction, while the overall surplus of sequins is nothing short of tacky!

74th Annual Golden Globe Awards, Arrivals, Los Angeles, USA - 08 Jan 2017

Drew Barrymore gets it right in this whimsical Monique Lhuillier gown: the fit is flawless and the sparkly winged shoulders are a perfect compliment to the actress’ character.

74th Annual Golden Globe Awards, Arrivals, Los Angeles, USA - 08 Jan 2017

Sarah Jessica Parker could be easily mistaken for a runaway bride in this Vera Wang collection mess. SJP- who usually gets it right- dons an unflattering full-on white satin gown that looks like it needs to be ironed for DAYS. Adding insult to injury is her (completely) out of place Princess Leia hair.

Evan Rachel Wood gives us a lesson on how to wear a  suit to a high profile red carpet and end up on the best dressed list. The actress nails it in a perfectly tailored Altuzarra tux with an understated pussy bow double breasted white chemise.

74th Annual Golden Globe Awards, Arrivals, Los Angeles, USA - 08 Jan 2017

Nicole Kidman looks all kinds of wrong in this fully embellished Alexander McQueen gown. I can’t seem to decide what’s worse: the multi-layered ruffled hem or the (extremely) outdated arm warmers!

Last night’s Best Actress winner was breathtaking in Valentino Haute Couture. La La Land‘s Emma Stone was the epitome of glamour in a beautiful star inspired gown and Tiffany & Co. diamonds.

Chrissy Teigen misses the mark in this disappointing fishtail gown by Marchesa. The model could have done so much better than this greige meets bronze gown.

Amy Adams stuns in a fully sequined strapless Tom Ford column dress. The Arrival actress kept her hair simple and accessorized with Cartier diamonds for her walk down the red carpet.

74th Annual Golden Globe Awards, Arrivals, Los Angeles, USA - 08 Jan 2017

Although Kerry Washington‘s makeup and hair were on point for the Golden Globes, her dress was NOT.  With the excessive gunmetal embroidery and awkward belt placement, this Dolce & Gabbana gold lace tea length dress has too much going on, not to mention those visible black spanks which are just tasteless.

74th Annual Golden Globe Awards, Arrivals, Los Angeles, USA - 08 Jan 2017

Reese Witherspoon shines in a custom-made Atelier Versace sweetheart neckline lemon dress with a high slit and Tiffany & Co. jewelry.

Zoe Saldana hits all the wrong notes in a Valentine inspired Gucci gown. Too much fabric and a huge in-your-face lavender bow turned this look into an absolute disaster.

74th Annual Golden Globe Awards, Arrivals, Los Angeles, USA - 08 Jan 2017

Kristen Bell  is chic and polished in a dangerously plunging Jenny Packham black dress. From the shiny all-over sequins to her tousled waves and not forgetting those drop dead gorgeous Harry Winston diamonds, Bell was undoubtedly the Globe’s Belle of the ball!

74th Annual Golden Globe Awards, Arrivals, Los Angeles, USA - 08 Jan 2017

Blake Lively makes her post-baby return to Hollywood in an unflattering custom velvet Atelier Versace gown. The look could have been a winning one if it weren’t for the unnecessary gold sequined neckline and weird pockets? Even Blake’s enviable emerald Lorraine Schwartz cuffs could not save this look!

The Boldest Looks From The MET Gala 2016

The first Monday of May in New York is quite the big deal; A-list celebrities flock to the MET museum on 5th avenue and walk the annual MET gala red carpet in custom-made creations by the world’s most coveted designers. 2016’s gala was no different than others; on the contrary, with a theme entitled ““Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology”, we witnessed a sea of mirrored gowns that surely transported us to the future. Here’s a closer look at last night’s boldest looks:

Emma Stone debuted her darker locks in a striking white Prada gown with a gunmetal harness. The actress completed her look with Lorraine Schwartz jewels and Smokey eyes.

Kendall Jenner was her usual stunning supermodel self in a custom multi-colored Atelier Versace dress. Jenner accentuated her look with white heels and a high ponytail.

Kendall’s bestie- Gigi Hadid- also wowed in a gunmetal chiffon custom-made Tommy Hilfiger gown with an attached halter neckline. The model brought her best accessory, boyfriend Zayn Malik who turned heads in his metal armed custom Versace suit.

Blake Lively usually knocks it out of the park with her MET gala ensembles, however, last night was a different story. The pregnant actress does not impress in her pink Burberry dress with red flower embellishments; from her hair to her over-the-top Lorraine Schwartz danglers, here’s hoping that Blake’s fashion choices evolve as her second pregnancy unfolds.

Taylor Swift can’t seem to get enough of her new look; the singer sticks to her beach hair and wine lips for the MET’s red carpet event and dons a reptile print Louis Vuitton side cut-out halter dress. It’s safe to say that T.Swift can do so much better than this.

In possibly one of the worst looks of the night, Madonna chooses to cover her nipples in black tape and show us her butt in a sheer black ensemble and over 400 carats of Neil Lane jewels. It’s time to act your age Madge.

Naomi Watts knows how good she looks in metallics: the Aussie actress stuns in a strapless mirrored Burberry dress with embellished flowers and Fred Leighton jewels.

Another red carpet, another shapeless matching getup for Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.

Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen

I’m usually not a fan of Kristen Stewart, but the actress surely impressed at this year’s MET gala. For her walk down the carpet, Stewart chose a laced silk Chanel dress with equally stunning sparkly boots. The actress ups her game with striking silver shadow and a blonde updo.

A usual MET gala favorite, Sarah Jessica Parker fails in this custom Monse ensemble and mis-matched heels from her own line, SJP.

Lady Gaga goes back to her early red carpet days in a flawlessly structured Atelier Versace onesie and matching metallic bolero with sublime detailing. Her lace-up platform boots should have stayed at home though.

Emma Watson pushes her style in a pant/skirt combo by Calvin Klein Collection. The British actress completes her outfit with a simple black and white bustier and old glamorous waves.

Kim Kardashian said that she felt like a “robot” in her metallic mirrored Balmain gown, but I doubt that a even a robot would want to wear this skin-tight over the top look.

Rachel McAdams is simply lovely in her Valentino dress which featured heavy gold details and script embroidery all over the skirt. The actress completed her look with dark lips and a pair of Jimmy Choos.

Too much dress and way too many feathers; Rita Ora fails to inspire us with her custom Vera Wang gown.

What could be better than Kate Bosworth’s sublime Dolce and Gabbana armored bodice dress? Her matching crown, that’s what.

"Manus x Machina: Fashion In An Age Of Technology" Costume Institute Gala - Arrivals

Katy Perry takes costume galas very seriously it seems. The singer goes all out with an elaborate (that word could be an understatement) Prada gown accentuated with a Tamagotchi (boyfriend Orlando Bloom also wore one) toy and a fierce updo.

"Manus x Machina: Fashion In An Age Of Technology" Costume Institute Gala - Arrivals

Cindy Crawford’s still got it! The ageless models sizzles in a liquid silver Balmain dress with structured sheer panels.

Nicki Minaj looks like she’s packed, taped, and ready to be shipped out in this custom Moschino halter dress, complete with buckle details and sheer gloves and skirt. #fail.

"Manus x Machina: Fashion In An Age Of Technology" Costume Institute Gala - Arrivals

I’m having a schizophrenic reaction to Miranda Kerr’s Louis Vuitton two piece outfit. On the one hand, it’s way too colorful and the mismatched ruffle is just tacky, but on the other hand, if anyone can get away with wearing this look,  it would be this Aussie model.

"Manus x Machina: Fashion In An Age Of Technology" Costume Institute Gala - Arrivals

Note to Brie Larson: this is what you wear to a high profile red carpet event from now on. The Oscar winner makes up for her Academy Awards look by slipping into a breath-taking cut-out Proenza Schouler mirrored halter dress. Simply stunning!

Kate Hudson disappoints in this super busy Atelier Versace white gown with a tiered and sculpted bodice and long train. The actress redeems herself (kind-of) thanks to her 8 million dollar Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

"Manus x Machina: Fashion In An Age Of Technology" Costume Institute Gala - Arrivals

Solange Knowles is playful in this #Lemonade pleated dress with an inverted neckline and thigh-high matching boots. Classic Solange and on point with the color to support big sis Beyoncé.

"Manus x Machina: Fashion In An Age Of Technology" Costume Institute Gala - Arrivals

Alicia Vikander has too much going on thanks to her Louis Vuitton dress. The design house’s latest muse groups patent, sequins, and patchwork all in one LV mini and yet, the disaster seems to come in the form of Vikander’s unfortunate red hiking boots.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art's COSTUME INSTITUTE Benefit Celebrating the Opening of Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology, Arrivals, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, NYC, New York, America - 02 May 2016

Dolce and Gabbana’s #ItaliaIsLove can easily be changed to #ZoeIsLove, for Saldana is the epitome of glitz and glamour in a flawless Dolce and Gabbana multi-colored feather trained extravagant gown.

"Manus x Machina: Fashion In An Age Of Technology" Costume Institute Gala - Arrivals

As if Beyoncé needed more press this week! Queen B was the talk of the MET thanks to her latex or Slaytex- as many called it- gown by Givenchy. The puff sleeve nude beaded gown sent the BeyHive (and the Twitterverse) into a frenzy and expressed a lack of care that Jay Z couldn’t make it. This was Beyoncé in all her glory and she emerged a winner, as usual.

Best & Worst Dressed At The 2016 Oscars

For film’s biggest night, Hollywood’s brightest and boldest actresses brought out their best designer duds for a walk on the red carpet. Here are the best and worst looks from Oscar Sunday.

Naomi Watts is stunning in this Armani Privé blue and purple scale patterned strapless dress. The Aussie actress ups her game in a drop-dead gorgeous Bulgari diamond necklace and matching clutch.

Saoirse Ronan may not have won the Oscar, but she sure was a winner on the red carpet. The Brooklyn actress wows in a custom-made Calvin Klein emerald sequin dress and matching Chopard emeralds and diamonds.

Lady Gaga impresses as only SHE can! The singer sticks to her unique roots in this Brandon Maxwell white jumpsuit complete with a sweetheart neckline and full train. Gaga adds over 8 million dollars of Lorraine Schwartz diamonds to complete her flawless look!

Olivia Wilde is another stunner in white; the actress takes the plunge in this plunging Valentino Haute Couture number. Wilde kept her makeup and hair simple and accessorized her look with a statement necklace.

Olivia Wilde

Julianne Moore ditched her go-to Givenchy for this custom Chanel Haute Couture black dress with embroidered straps. Last year’s Oscar winner was mesmerizing thanks to an addition of Chopard diamond earrings and cuff.

It’s so good to see Tina Fey finally end up on a best dressed list! The funny actress stuns in a royal purple Atelier Versace strapless gown and matching statement Bulgari diamonds.

Another red carpet, another sizzling appearance by the one and only Margot Robbie. The beautiful actress is reminiscent of an Oscar statue in her snake skin gold Tom Ford gown with plunging neckline and matching Forever Mark diamonds.

Rachel McAdams hits the mark in her impeccable August Getty Atelier gown! From the train to the open back, and not forgetting her flawless Piaget drop earrings, the Canadian beauty was surely one of the night’s best dressed stars.

Olivia Munn is classy and elegant in her tangerine one-shoulder Stella McCartney gown. She accentuates her look with a matching lip and Forever Mark jewels.

Jennifer Lawrence decided to take a walk on the wild side and step out of her comfort zone in this nude and black lace Dior gown. The actress completed her look with a fresh face and a blunt straight bob.

I’m undecided about Cate Blanchett‘s gown choice for last night’s awards. The actress’ seafoam green Armani Privé gown has too much going on thanks to the multidimensional appliques all over. At least her breath-taking Tiffany & Co. diamonds saved her!

Kate Winslet looks like she went for a dip in the ocean right before the Oscars and then put on the first gown she saw hanging in her closet. Everything about this look is a disaster; from the careless hairdo to the liquid silk lamé custom Ralph Lauren gown, Britain’s English rose could have done so much better than this!

Another red carpet, another disaster for Heidi Klum. The supermodel fails to impress in this over-the-top cleavage baring one shoulder lilac Marchesa number with one too many floral embellishments.

Heidi Klum

She may have taken home the Oscar for best actress, but even that can’t save Brie Larson from this Gucci disaster. The actress is a mess in this custom-made royal blue spaghetti strap gown which featured too many out of place skirt details and an oversized silver belt.

The Best Dressed Stars At The Emmy Awards

Sunday night saw the return of awards season as Hollywood’s brightest stars came out to celebrate TV’s biggest night. Here are the best looks from last night’s show.

Metallics was a huge trend with several ladies opting for it. One of these stunners was none other than Scandal’s Kerry Washington who wowed us with a Marc Jacobs metallic gown that was actually just shown at the designer’s NYFW show last Thursday! The actress added Harry Winston diamonds and simple Casadei sandals to complete her look.

Another big trend on the carpet was the use of chains in some gowns. One of the actresses who opted for it was the ever-so young Taraji P. Henson. She chose a custom-made black dress by Alexander Wang that featured lace and cutouts. She completed her look with Neil Lane diamonds.

Lady Gaga surprised everyone as she walked the red carpet in her simple designer duds thanks to a drop dead gorgeous elaborate black gown by Brandon Maxwell with a structured hip embellishment. Her sleek blond tresses were on point as were her Lorraine Schwartz diamonds!

Sarah Paulson is a vision of monochrome black and navy in this Prabal Gurung number. We love the off-the-shoulder neckline which the actress is working with ease along with her severely straight hair and Rauwolf clutch.

It’s such a relief to finally see Ariel Winter looking her age at an awards show! The Modern Family actress wore a red Romona Kaveza gown with an interesting asymmetrical neckline to the Emmy’s. Her flowing natural black curls and natural makeup are just perfect!

Jamie Alexander brought a rainbow to the carpet in the form of this stunning Armani Privé gown. The actress seems to be well connected with the brand, as this gown still hasn’t even seen on Milan’s runways! Completing her look were sleek slicked back hair and Baccarat jewels.

One actress who does not make the best dressed list often, is Claire Danes. However, this year, the Homeland actress was flawless in this purple chained Prada gown that is clearly flattering her figure and is a perfect match to her blond tresses.

Modern Family’s Sarah Hyland brought glamour to the carpet in a custom-made Zac Posen burgundy gown. The off-the-shoulder meets inverted neckline complemented the actress’ body and her Lorraine Schwartz diamonds made her shine even more.

Sofia Vergara was radiant in her champagne colored St. John strapless gown. The soon to be wed actress kept her hair naturally flowing and added bling from her go-to jeweler, Lorraine Schwartz.

The Top 10 Weirdest Looks From The 2015 Met Gala

Just like every year, Hollywood’s finest flock to New York’s MET for the annual MET Ball. Contrary to last year – when we didn’t witness any ground-breaking fashion moments, this year’s invitees religiously embraced the China: Through the Looking Glass theme as stars such as Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, Sofia Vergara and others wowed in their custom designer wear. I’m sure you were bombarded with the best looks online all day yesterday, but what you probably haven’t seen are the downright outrageously weird outfits. Here’s a closer look:

Wearing head to-toe Prada, Olivia Wilde looked like she was ready to celebrate the Chinese New Year in this V-neck column studded purple gown. At first look, the gown seems interesting, but then Olivia had to go and ruin it by adding these opera gloves (also studded) and matching clutch (that was also studded too).

Miley Cyrus‘ body is drowning somewhere in this Alexander Wang black dress with excessive side cutouts. As if this gown isn’t bad enough, she had to go and dye her hair ice blue. Personally, I would have preferred the mesh dress nipple-pasty wearing Miley instead of THIS.

This is what happens when you take a theme TOO seriously! Katy Perry looks nothing like herself in- what I can only imagine- is a Pokemon? inspired Moschino gown.

Solange Knowles usually never manages to steal big sis’ Beyoncé’s thunder, but in this case she has. Solange chose a custom-made Giles mini dress which was as weird as it was awesome!

FKA Twigs sure loves mosaics. Robert Pattinson’s new fiancé strutted her stuff in a Christopher Kane multi-colored “Lovers Mosaic Design”. And have you heard? The internet found the penis on her dress. Can you?

I’m not sure if Kerry Washington‘s bubble gum pink Prada gown belonged at the Met Ball. From the floral details, to the bow embellished shoulder straps, and not forgetting the green Mary Janes, Washington looks better suited to be handing out candy at the Disney Store.

Instead of going all out for an elaborate Chinese inspired gown, Cara Delevigne let her body do the talking – literally. The British model paired her Stella McCartney jumpsuit- featuring a bra top and skinny pants, with countless floral body tattoos. Way to bend the rules Cara!

Justin Beiber makes his return to the red carpet at the MET in a gold embellished suit jacket and black collarless shirt. Enough said.

While Chloe Sevigny is known for her interesting? fashion choices, this time she took things to a whole new level. Her JW Anderson ensemble is just TOO busy, starting with the white bodice, to the forest skirt, and finishing with the red heels and “coiffed” blond hair.

Even if you can get over the disastrous 80s inspired red Balamain gown, long fringed earrings, and shimmery gold belt, you can’t but notice how much Kris Jenner resembles Adam Lambert in this shot!

Salma Hayek is Coming to Beirut!

Yes all the rumors you heard are true!

The beyond stunning Salma Hayek will be in Beirut on April 27th, 2015 for the world premiere of her new animated movie, “The Prophet”. You read that correctly: the Lebanese capital will be hosting its first EVER world premiere at Beirut Souks’ Cinema City!

The sexy Lebanese-Mexican actress has lent her voice to the movie’s leading character, Kamila and is also the Executive Producer of the picture. Hayek has long been a fan of the Lebanese writer, Gebran Khalil Gebran and is said to have been proud of finally transforming the story from a book to the big screen for the whole world to enjoy!

Aside from Hayek’s impeccable acting skills, the much-loved actress is quite the fashionista and has been so since her early Hollywood days. Salma is always one to watch any time she hits the red carpet and steals the show with the dazzling silhouettes she wears along with the tasteful cleavage she puts on display. Red, black, fushia, and neutrals, Hayek has worn it all. She is also a designer favorite and has worn gowns by Balenciaga and Gucci, to name a few.

There’s no doubt that Salma will bring glitz and glam to Monday night’s red carpet; she will undoubtedly wow us with the gown she chooses to wear. So, just for fun, I’ve rounded up a selection of some of the hottest gowns from Lebanon’s finest designers; who knows, the actress might just choose to wear one of them on the big night!

In case Hayek decides to go for a Lebanese designer, Elie Saab may be on top her list! The world class designer presented a stunning Ready To Wear Spring 2015 collection inspired by the sea. The actress can choose a thigh high slit sky blue design with belt detail, a classic black plunging jumpsuit or a printed low-cut design. Salma can also go for a design from the Spring Summer 2015 Haute Couture collection; just take a look at this stunning Chartereuse confection with a full skirt and impeccable embroidery!

elie ss

Red has always been a favorite color of the fiery Hayek. At first look, this red jumpsuit by Zuhair Murad might look like business, but the delicate mesh details across the bodice add a little glam to the otherwise subdued design! The breath-taking actress can add sexy waves and a red lip to pump up the look!

Zuhair Murad

Wouldn’t you love to see Salma taking a huge risk thanks to one of Lebanon’s up and coming designers? This iridescent hand embroidered fringed cocktail dress is designed by Rami Kadi, as part of his new Les Illusions Exquises collection and would show off the actress’ toned legs perfectly!

What do you think of my picks? Regardless, there’s no doubt that no matter what Salma Hayek chooses to wear, she will be on my best dressed list!

Oscars 2015: The Best & Worst Dressed List

Awards season wrapped up last night with the Oscars taking place in Los Angeles; and although the streets were flooded with unexpected rain, Hollywood’s elite still made it onto the red carpet in their fancy designer wear. Here’s a closer look at the night’s best and worst dressed.

Dakota Johnson wows in the night’s hottest color- red; the 50 Shades of Grey actress wore a stunning one-shouldered Saint Laurent featuring a knotted accent. She accessorized with 2.2 million dollars worth of Forever Mark diamonds and though she should have opted for another hairstyle, it’s nice to see that the young actress stayed true to her personality and went for a simple ponytail.

Marion Cotillard is a vision of class in a demure white- you guessed it- Dior. The French actress accessorized with statement Chopard diamond hoop earrings and understated make-up.

Another actress who wowed in red was Rosamund Pike. The sexy Gone Girl brings so much glitz and glam in a strapless Givenchy featuring a mid-thigh slit. She matches her dress with strappy shoes and keeps her hair and makeup simple. Simply stunning!

The always sexy Margot Robbie sizzles in a plunging black Saint Laurent. The Aussie beauty adds red lips and a STATEMENT Van Cleef & Arpels necklace that can literally be seen from Australia!

Jessica Chastain is all va-va-va voom in a custom navy and black sequined Givenchy gown. The stunning actress is all smiles showing ample cleavage and a sexy side slit while walking the carpet last night.

Leggy beauty Chrissy Tiegan wows in Zuhair Murad; saying that she “loooves Zuhair”, the model once again went to the Lebanese designer who put her in a plunging, thigh-high drop-dead gorgeous gown! She upped the sexy by going for a dark lip and a sexy blow-out.

This season’s awards show leading lady, Julianne Moore, is a white vision in custom Chanel. Yes, Karl Lagerfeld designed this breath-taking strapless for the red-haired actress that took over 900 hours to make. Chopard diamonds completed the winning look!

Reese Witherspoon keeps things simple- in a good way- in a black and white color block off-the shoulder Tom Ford gown. She kept her hair down and added tons of diamonds to accentuate her look.

My absolute favorite from the night was non other than Jennifer Aniston! The sexy actress- can you believe she just turned 46?!- surprised everyone by staying away from her go to black dresses and instead, opted for this stunning structured custom sweet-heart neckline Versace. Jennifer let the dress do the talking and kept her accessories to a minimum- her signature blond locks also flowed as she walked the carpet.

87th Annual Academy Awards - Arrivals

I feel bad for Felicity Jones, I really do. Everyone is talking about how she intended to look like a “modern-day Cinderella” and instead, the Brit is ending up on worst dressed lists thanks to this halter, full ruched skirt ice blue Alexander McQueen fail. It’s really hard to believe that the brand’s creative director, Sarah Burton has been working on this dress since December, for the color is completely off and there are just TOO many details to focus on here. Adding insult to injury are Felicity’s severely blunt bangs which conceal her eyes and really make her look like a blast from a past British history book.

Spring came early according to Gwyneth Paltrow. I have mixed emotions towards this powder pink custom Ralph & Russo gown: while Gwyneth’s body is breath-taking, that huge flower on her left shoulder is just too much. Gwyneth, next year, leave your flowers in a vase. At home.

Taking a page out of Heidi Klum’s book, Scarlet Johanssen wore a choker to compliment her Atelier Versace gown last night. The entire look is just too matchy matchy- I don’t appreciate how the necklace is almost chocking Scarlet and I am not a fan of this fabric.

Did you hear? Nicole Kidman got her red belt in karate and she wants the whole world to know it! Is there another reason for adding this “belt” to this otherwise disastrous Louis Vuitton strapless gown?

It’s rather unbelievable to see Zoe Saldana look this good less than 3 months after delivering twins- almost as unbelievable as seeing her opt for a high-school prom-like Versace gown. Although the color is amazing against her skin, those spaghetti straps are so distracting to the eye. The curly haired updo is also a major fail.

Lady Gaga wants to show you that she’s just like the rest of us: she too does the dishes in red gloves and sometimes forgets to take them off before leaving the house. Any other explanation for ruining a custom-made Alaia gown that took over 10 weeks to make? Nope? Didn’t think so!

Best & Worst Dressed at the 2015 SAG Awards!

It was a night of glitz and glamour as actors honored their fellow actors in Los Angeles on Sunday.

Here are the most memorable gowns from the evening along with those we all really want to forget!

Although this look is nowhere close to her breath-taking sighting 2 weeks ago, Julianne Moore dazzles once again in Givenchy. Although I’m not a fan of the tank top design and the somewhat messy hair, the emerald color is simply stunning and the intricate beading is flawless, and those purple Chopard earrings are not so bad either!

julianne moore

Reese Witherspoon continues her winning red carpet streak and shows up in a custom-made Giorgio Armani white one-sleeved gown. The blond beauty adds major bling thanks to 3.5 million dollars worth of Harry Winston diamonds.

reese with

Modern Family’s Julie Bowen makes her return to the red carpet thanks to a flawless design by George Hobeika. The flirty floral patterned design hugs the actress’ frame and compliments it perfectly.

julie bowen

Red carpet darling Naomi Watts wows in an off-the-shoulder navy Balenciaga gown. Once again, the actress flaunts her perfect diamonds from the BVLGARI along with a matching clutch from the Italian brand.

naomi watts

The stunning Khaleesi- also known by her real name, Emilia Clarke walks the carpet with so much sophistication and poise. The uber sexy Brit stuns in a black and navy Donna Karan gown and perfect Cartier jewels.

emilia clarke

Jennifer Aniston gives Sofia Vergara a run for her money and takes a deep plunge in a vintage Galliano paisley print gown. The “Cake” actress adds her favorite gold body chain and goes for a blow-dry that just works.

jen aniston

In turn, newly engaged Sofia Vergara drops jaws in a killer Donna Karan Atelier red corset and flowing train combo. The Modern Family actress kept her hair simple and accessorized with her stunning engagement sparkler.

sofia vergara

Emma Stone is an absolute winner on the red carpet! She takes a major risk and shows up in a Dior Haute Couture tuxedo jacket dress that is absolutely flawless! The actress keeps her hair and make-up simple and slips into a pair of sexy strappy Louboutins to complete her Best Dressed look.

emma stone

Felicity Jones chose a beautiful Balenciaga design for the SAGs. It’s too bad that she selected a powder pink version of the gown, because the color completely washes her out.

felicity jones

Claire Danes may not be the train-wreck she was at the Golden Globes, but that doesn’t make her look any better. This Marc Jacobs halter design could have interesting if it weren’t for that busy contrasting belt and stone accents on the sides- yes stone accents!

claire danes

If you’re feeling an intolerable urge to rip-off Julia Roberts‘ weird looking satin-like pelvis? “pockets”, rest assured, you’re not alone. Roberts’ Givenchy jumpsuit’s tailoring is completely off and those black peep-toes look one size too big/worn out!

julia roberts

Keira Knightley: still pregnant, still on the worst dressed list. Although the shade of purple of this Erdem gown is amazing against her skin-tone, Knightley once again chooses to hide her baby bump under layers and layers of unnecessary fabric! Impatiently waiting for this once fashion icon and Chanel darling to wow us again!

keira knightly

And last but not least, Modern Family’s Ariel Winter brings the teenage cleavage to the SAGs red carpet courtesy of a winter white Zac Posen gown. Mind you, the actress is only 16 years old and although I read somewhere that she has trouble dressing for her body type, this look is too much dress and a whole lot of face paint for someone who is obviously going out on a school night!

Best & Worst Dressed at the Golden Globe Awards 2015!

Awards season officially kicked off on Sunday with the Golden Globes taking place in Los Angeles. After a very rainy weekend in the California city, the stars came out in their beautiful designer gowns to walk the red carpet. Several trends were noticed but the most memorable ones were metallics, reds, whites, and  blacks, as always. Let’s take a look at the most memorable gowns from last night and check out who was best and worst dressed.

Shiny Metallics

Hollywood’s A list dazzled in mesmerizing metallics! Julianne Moore led the way in a custom-made Givenchy strapless gown featuring ombre sequins and feathers at the hem and completed her look with Chopard jewels. The breath-taking Diane Kruger wowed in Emilia Wickstead! Although the German actress was all covered up, she still looked stunning while doing so! America’s sweetheart a.k.a Reese Witherspoon brought sexy back in a flawless strapless Calvin Klein dress and stunning diamonds, while Kate Beckinsale took the plunge in a low-cut Elie Saab. Let’s also not forget the forever young Jennifer Lopez- who proves time and time again- that she is one of THE hottest celebrities out there. The sexy latina was once again loyal to Zuhair Murad, who put her in this insanely sexy plunging, mid thigh-high slit gown!

Festive Reds

While some stars wowed in metallics, others were still enjoying the festive season and showed up in red. Two celebrities in specific stood out in the holiday color: Allison Williams blew everyone away with her strapless Armani Privé ball gown while Heidi Klum took everyone’s breath away (finally!) in a sexy, yet glamorous Versace.

Winter Whites

You can always count on the beyond beautiful Kate Hudson to bring the sexy to the red carpet. Goldie’s daughter turned heads in a sexy plunging and cut-out white Versace gown. She balanced the sexy out by putting her hair up in a demure updo. Emily Blunt also seemed to be a fan of cutouts, selecting a custom-made Michael Kors.

Nude Neutrals

Chrissy Tiegan went to Zuhair Murad who made sure that she looked sexy in sheer for the red carpet event, while Anna Kendrick channeled Cinderella in her girly Monique Lhuiller gown.

Dark Ladies

Lorde looked age appropriate in her fun custom-made Narciso Rodriguez pantsuit. The songstress’ hair may have been in distress but her jaw-dropping Neil Lane statement diamond necklace will surely divert your attention. Jennifer Aniston stayed in her comfort zone by slipping into a black halter Saint Laurent gown. While she looked beautiful, I would have loved to see her in something more daring; moreover, the halter strap is a little too 90s for 2015. I don’t blame you in case you mistakenly identified Jessica Chastain as Sofia Vergara; the red head took a page out of Vergara’s book and slipped into a va-va-voom plunging bronze Versace that hugged her curves perfectly.

A Colorful Winter

Any best dressed list is incomplete without the stunning Naomi Watts who wowed in yellow in the middle of January! The Aussie beauty chose Gucci for the globes and perfectly accessorized her look with a BVLGARI serpenti necklace. Possibly one of my favorites of the night, Jenna Dewan Tatum, was a vision in a ruffled strapless Carolina Herrera!

On the opposite end of the list, here’s Amy Adams in a one shoulder Versace. I love Amy Adams and most of the time, her choices are spot on. However, I really feel like this powder blue gown washes her out; I just wish she had went for a darker version or added a dark lip for some drama.

Tina Fey looks like she’s going to her school prom instead of a red carpet show. The funny lady disappoints in a strapless Antonio Berrardi cocktail gown, as it appears as if she sowed on that extra layer of white fabric minutes before the show..

Tina Fey

Claire Danes‘ fashion choices usually land her on the best dressed list. However, her Valentino disaster looks too medieval for the 21st century. The design is too busy and the actress’ body seems to have disappeared somewhere in between all these prints.

Claire Danes

Lena Dunham shows you how NOT to wear red on the carpet. The Girls actress dons an asymmetrical Zac Posen dress with several busy cuts, and that’s not even the worst of it: her hideous shoes need to be burnt asap!

Lena Dunham

Lupita Nyong’o may have been last year’s red carpet darling, but the Kenyan actress is starting off 2015 on a bad note. Although the bust of her Giambattista Valli gown is exploding with perfectly arranged flowers, the midriff section looks like a New Year’s Eve cotillion cotillion gone wrong.

Lupita Nyong'o

Kate Mara is also another actress who usually gets it right. However, last night was another story. Her red Miu Miu gown looks great from afar, but take a closer look and the ruched detailing on both sides of her pelvic area is quite distracting. Also not helping is that tan belt which needs to be burnt along with Lena Dunham’s shoes.

Kate Mara

Another year, another failed look. Maggie Gyllenhal is on a winning worst dressed list streak by wearing this Miu Miu bed sheet. The bust details are beyond awkward and the gown needs to be ironed.

Lana Del Rey may be young and beautiful, but sure isn’t best dressed. The singer chose this turquoise dress? that’s all sorts of wrong. I don’t even know who the designer is, but this crime is too much to look at.

Lana Del Rey

I loved Rosamund Pike in Gone Girl. It’s also hard to believe that the British beauty just had a baby just a month ago.. Her Vera Wang dress really would have been perfect, if only it had the right fit. Considering its current state, this gown looks like a wardrobe malfunction ready to happen any minute!

Rosamund Pike

It’s hard to believe that Keira Knightly’s Chanel dress reportedly took almost 30 hours to make. I mean how hard it is to cut up a piece of fabric that has hundreds of species of butterflies and sow it into a dress? Yes she’s pregnant and yes it is wrong to make fun of pregnant women, but seriously now, there’s an almost actual living butterfly on her wrist too! There’s is no excuse for this crime against butterflies whatsoever!

See Amal Alamuddin’s Dress from Last Night’s Golden Globe Awards!

The world went wild when George Clooney got out of his limo at last night’s Golden Globe awards. The A list actor brought along his stunning Lebanese bride, lawyer Amal Alamuddin.

As soon as hot twosome stepped onto the red carpet, media outlets were competing to get the first word from the newly married couple.

Expectations were high since Amal- known for her understated and classy style- wowed fans with several couture gowns throughout her Venice wedding to Clooney a few months back. So, what she did end up wearing to the red carpet event? Amal wore a classic and strapless black custom-made Dior couture gown featuring a statement one shoulder cape. Mrs. Clooney complimented her look with gloves that she sowed herself (seriously!) and a white clutch purse. Personally, I wasn’t a fan of the satin gloves; I’m pretty sure the lawyer would have stunned more if she had dropped them, but it was nice to see her adding a personal touch that looked as if it were inspired by a night at the opera. Her hair- although long and flowing- could have also been wore up in a classic chignon to let the dress do all the talking and showcase her stunning 29 carat Harry Winston earrings. However, it must be said that Mrs. George Clooney looked glamorous, timeless, and blended into the A list crowd for her first post-wedding red carpet!

As for George himself, well the actor wore – wait for it- his Armani wedding tux to the Globes: the tux was personally designed by Giorgio Armani and combines a blend of ultra wool and cashmere.
